Cooking with Chef Tristan Encarnacion

December 2, 2011 in Food & Travel Blogs, food and beverage, review

This post was late but not overdue.  I promised to blog about what happened in our trip at Pitogo and Unisan Quezon and my previous post is just a proof how beautiful the place was.

This time, i want to share with you a recipe that Chef Tristan Encarnacion made during the event.  It was very simple and easy to make.

He used goat considering that it was the featured ingredients of the day.  First, he marinate the goat with pepper and salt.

Put the “kakang gata” or the fresh coconut milk in the pan to boil. Add small amount of water. Put the goat in the pan to boil.

Add curry powder and bring it to a boil.   You will know if your dish is done when the meat is tender and the sauce is already thick.

Canada- a place of many dreams

October 15, 2011 in blogging, Food & Travel Blogs, travel

It’s been six months since my M-I-L went to Canada to be with her canadian boyfriend and we have heard so much good things about Canada.  How peaceful and beautiful it was.

canada

Hubby and I decided that he would go to Canada and find work and hopefully by next year that will come into fruition. It would be a lonely journey for him and for the whole family but the benefits of having a good paying job could really help us pay our house dues and prepare for the schooling of the kids.

Although, there might be complications along the way, we know that Canada would be a great place for us and we hope in God’s will, this will come to be realized.

July 11, 2011 in blogging, contest, Food & Travel Blogs

I love cooking and i always love to eat. No wonder i am getting bigger each day and If there is one food that I truly love is Sisig.  Honestly I have not tried to make my own dish because i don’t have the materials and time to do so  but whenever i get the chance to eat on any formal dining and resto, I will always look if there is a sisig in the menu.

I love the smell of it, it makes my heart jump for joy.  I don’t know when I have started to love it but there is only one certain thing,  I will surely love it for life.  No wonder most of my post here in this blog is about sisig. Now, you know why I so love them and if given a chance I wanted to try the different variation of it. That would be so interesting and i wonder when will it be?

ooh, i'm so hungry, i think i can finish all this plate of sisig!
